About the Therapist

Trisha Schmalhofer: CranioSacral and Massage Therapist

Integrating her education in psychology, innate talents as a manual therapist and work experience with children and youth with special needs, Trisha Schmalhofer, owner of Integrative Medical Healing, has enjoyed being a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in Florida since 1997. She was born and raised in Lancaster, PA and then earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at the University of Maryland in College Park.  After graduation in 1993, she moved to Orlando, Florida and then later to Palm Bay, where she also worked in the public school system for 9 years.

She also has extensive training from the Upledger Institute in Palm Beach, FL, founded by Dr. John Upledger, DO. She has been trained in CranioSacral 1 and 2, SomatoEmotional Release, Immune System Response, Therapeutic Imagery and Dialogue, Vector Alignment and Chakra Balancing. She also has other training in Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular/Trigger Point Therapy and Orthopedic Massage of the Neck and Lower Back.

Trisha has practiced in a wide variety of therapeutic settings, has a God-given talent of “listening” to her client’s body and is passionate about being of service to others with her abilities to facilitate the holistic healing process. Trisha has been described by clients as “innovative, professional, intuitive, compassionate and gifted“.  She has been on a healing team for clients ages 7 weeks to 85 years old.
